LOT Summer School
From 9-20 July 2001 the Netherlands Graduate School of Linguistics
(LOT) in cooperation with the North West Centre for Linguistics (NWCL)
at the Universities of Bangor, Lancaster, Liverpool, Manchester,
Salford and UMIST & Edge Hill College, is organizing a
LINGUISTICS SUMMER SCHOOL
in UTRECHT, The Netherlands
TOPICS:
The Summer School will offer about 24 courses in different
linguistic fields, ranging from Phonetics to Formal Semantics, from
Psycholinguistics to Typology.

Sergey Avrutin (Utrecht), Harald Baayen (MPI Nijmegen), Huub van
den Bergh (Utrecht), Diane Blakemore (Salford), Paul Bennet (UMIST),
Peter Cole (Delaware), Nigel Duffield (McGill/MPI Nijmegen), Sam
Epstein (Michigan), Janet Fodor (CUNY), Anastasia Giannakidou
(Groningen), Ken Hale (MIT), David Lightfoot (Maryland/Reading), Matsuo
(MPI Nijmegen), Tony McEnery (Lancaster), David Poeppel (Maryland),
Neil Smith (UCL), Andrew Spencer (Essex), Hans van de Velde
(Bruxelles/Nijmegen), and others...
REGISTRATION/LODGING:
Registration fee is NLG 400 per week. We expect to be able to offer
student housing for NLG 250-300 per week. Students/faculty who are
residents of an Eastern European country can apply for a grant with LOT
(LOT@let.uu.nl)
